Executive & Leadership Coaching · Kirkland, Seattle and Online

You already have the capability. Pressure is getting in the way.

Executive coaching for CEOs, founders and senior leaders who know what good leadership looks like, and want to access it consistently when the stakes are highest.

The leadership gap

Why capable leaders underperform

Every leader eventually notices something traditional performance models struggle to explain. Two people with similar intelligence, experience and resources produce dramatically different results, especially under uncertainty.

The difference is rarely capability. It's access to capability. The executive who loses clarity in a crisis, the founder who knows the answer but can't reach it when the board is watching, the leader who drives change for everyone except themselves.

Most leadership development adds more skills. Executive coaching with Sabio removes what's interfering with the skills you already have.

What we work on

Lead with clarity instead of force

Decisions under pressure

Notice when fear is making the call, and get back to clear judgment while the stakes are high.

Decision fatigue and overload

Find the patterns of reaching and resisting that drain energy long before the day is over.

Leading through change

Resistance isn't irrational. Understand it in yourself and your team, so change stops costing so much.

Presence and alignment

Close the distance between who you are and how you lead, so your team gets the real you.

Why Bill

A coach who has sat in the room

Bill Gauthier spent more than 25 years in enterprise technology. He started as a program manager at Microsoft and went on to lead global partnerships with Microsoft, AWS and Google Cloud for companies including Wipro, Blue Prism, HackerOne and SonarSource.

He has negotiated multi-million-dollar strategic agreements, built partner programs from nothing and led through constant reorganization. He knows how decisions really get made, and what it costs the people making them.

He pairs that experience with training in executive coaching and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction from Brown University. The result is coaching that's practical enough for the boardroom and deep enough to change how you operate.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is executive coaching confidential?
Yes. What you discuss in coaching stays between us. If your company sponsors the engagement, we agree up front on what, if anything, is shared.
Can my company pay for coaching?
Often, yes. Many organizations fund executive coaching through leadership development budgets. I'm happy to provide what your company needs to approve it.
Do you coach in person or online?
Both. I meet leaders in person in Kirkland and across the Eastside, including Bellevue and Redmond, and online by video anywhere.
How is this different from leadership training?
Leadership training teaches skills. This work focuses on the fear-driven patterns that keep you from using the skills you already have, so improvement lasts under real pressure.
